Coming February 19: A Better Way to Buy & Manage Training

We’re streamlining the Smart Choices experience. Starting February 19, 2026, we are moving away from manual gift cards to a more automated, direct invite process.

Goodbye Gift Cards, Hello Direct Access

Gift cards are being retired as a purchase method (Note: Any existing gift cards already purchased will continue to be honored). In their place, you’ll find two new ways to get training to your team without the hassle of copying and pasting codes.

Option 1: Purchasing for One Other Person

Perfect for quickly getting a new hire certified.

• • Add to Cart: Add a standard Liquor or Cannabis Certification to your cart.
  • Select Purchase Option: Select the "Purchasing for one other person"  purchase option.
  • Assign the Training: Enter their name and email directly in the cart. Once you checkout, they receive an automated email with everything they need to start training immediately.

Option 2: Bulk Purchases for Teams

Designed for businesses that need to manage multiple certifications at once.

• • Add to Cart: Add the new Bulk SKU of the Liquor or Cannabis Certification to your cart
  • Select Purchase Option: Select the "Purchasing in Bulk" purchase option.
  • Training Manager Dashboard: After purchase, you’ll get a redemption code and a link to a new Certification Assignment Page.
  • New Tools: On this page, you can:
    • Assign multiple users to the purchased training via email.
    • Request a Key Summary Report that tracks completion statuses of learners training in real-time.
